GIULIO IACCHETTI

Giulio Iacchetti, industrial designer since 1992, designs for many brands including Abet Laminati, Alessi, Danese, Casamania, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Magis, Meritalia, Moleskine. He is curator of exhibitions like Cruciale held in Milano, Roma, Enna and Ration-K, the food for the soldier in action held by Triennale Milano in January 2015. He has been awarded two Compasso D’Oro. The first one in 2001 for the biodegradable spoon/fork Moscardino, that is part of the permanent collection of MOMA New York. The other in 2014 for the manhole coverings designed for Montini. In May 2009 the Triennale di Milano held a solo exhibition entitled “Giulio Iacchetti. Disobedient objects”.
